The Village Awards recognizes the best cooperation between startups and large companies and helps startups to develop and grow by creating synergies with large groups in the spirit of open innovation.

This year the grand finale of the Village Awards will be held in Paris on the 24th of September 2020. There were 16 applications selected and 3 of them: EmailTree AI, FIRIS and DataRobot will try to win one of the 4 categories of the ceremony:

Hub@Luxembourg in collaboration with the Luxembourg Open Innovation Club (LOIC) tried to find the best projects. Orange Luxembourg and Email tree already participated in the events organised by the LOIC.

Inside Orange Luxembourg, EmailTree's artificial intelligence applies to complex and technical issues and questions, specific to the telecom industry. In extension to this, 5 languages are used in the dialogues between the customers and the Customer Service & Support teams. It happens quite often that a message starts in one language (like French) and ends in another language (English for example). A cosmopolitan environment.
